Reapplication is for current residents only. It gives priority to those who plan to live on campus again the following year.
You can secure your space in a residence hall for 2026-2027 starting October 14, 2025.
Current residents must reapply by March 31, 2026 to be able to select their own residence
hall room.
Reapplication
Reapplication—with the ability to select your own residence hall room—is open from from 2:00 p.m. October 14, 2025 until 11:59 p.m. March 31, 2026.
Interested in the Apartments?
You need to reapply before 11:59 p.m. January 31, 2026. Current apartment residents
are guaranteed an apartment if they reapply by the deadline. You will not be able
to select your own apartment space; apartment assignments will be made in February
2026 - based on application completion date and time, as well as building and roommate
preferences.
Interested in the Residence Halls or an LLC?
You need to reapply before 11:59 p.m. March 31, 2026. You will immediately have the
ability to select your room through the March 31 deadline.
Late Reapplication
You can still reapply for housing after March 31, 2026 but will not have the ability to select your initial room assignment. We encourage all residents to apply early.
You can access the application by logging into My.MissouriState, discover the Housing
card, and click the Housing Application link. Your application will be considered
complete as soon as you sign your terms & conditions. Then, it's important you still
complete your application preferences (building preferences, meal plans, etc.).
Step 2 - Select your room before March 31, 2026.
You immediately have the ability to select the exact room you want to live in next
year (in the residence halls). You can select rooms on returner/upper-class/eligible
LLC floors. This is encouraged for everybody who does not currently live in the apartments. Anyone who has not selected their room by March 31 will have their room assignment
selected for them.
Wanting an apartment? Select a room in a residence hall while you wait! This will not affect your chance
of getting an apartment, but does allow you to secure the space you want if you do
not get an apartment. Apartment assignments will be made and emailed in February 2026.
Step 3- Change your room assignment (if you want) until July!
We give you the flexibility to change your assignment for any reason; you'll be able
to see all available spaces for which you are eligible.
When you live on campus for a second year, you can buy out a 2-person room in Freddy
or Wells and have it as a PRIVATE all to yourself for the 26-27 academic year, for only $800 more per semester!
As a third year returning resident, get a private room for only $400 more per semester.
Living on campus for a fourth year? Pay only $200 more per semester!
To take advantage of this deal:
Submit your housing application.
Select a 2-person private room in either Freddy or Wells.
*Offer only for returning students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Offer only valid
for 2-person rooms in Freddy or Wells House. Price of private room is standard rate
plus deal amount per semester.
Housing Policy: All single students under 21 years of age who have earned fewer than 27 hours of transferable credit after high school graduation are required to live in university housing.
