Reapplication

Housing reapplication will open for current residents at 2:00 PM on October 15, 2019. 


 

What is Reapplication?

Reapplication gives current residents who plan to live on campus the following academic year receive housing priority over incoming students when they apply and secure a room. 

Current residents must reapply by 11:59 p.m. February 28th to receive housing priority. 

When can I reapply? 

Reapplication runs from 2:00 p.m. October 15, 2019 through 11:59 p.m. February 28th. 


Students interested in reapplying to the Apartments will need to reapply between 2:00 p.m. October 15, 2019 and 11:59 p.m. January 31, 2020. 

Students interested in reapplying to the Residence Halls, LLCs or The New Residence Hall will need to reapply 2:00 p.m. October 15, 2019 through 11:59 p.m. February 28, 2020. 

We encourage students to complete their application early.

How do I reapply? 

Residence Halls & LLCs

Step 1- Apply

My.MissouriState.edu → Campus Life → Housing → Complete Application

Step 2- Select A Room

  • Select your space on an upperclassmen floor in one of the residence halls.
  • If you preference an LLC AND meet eligibility you’ll be able to select-a-room in ANY Living-Learning Community (except First-Year Bears and Global Community) as space is available.
  • Spaces are available based on first-come first-serve as students reapply.

Apartments & The New Residence Hall

Step 1- Apply

My.MissouriState.edu → Campus Life → Housing → Complete Application

Step 2- Wait for assignment e-mail or more information

  • Current apartment residents are guaranteed an apartment space if they apply by January 31st.
  • Remaining apartment spaces will be assigned in application completion date order, incorporating building preferences, roommate preferences, and roommate matching questions.
  • Apartment assignments will be e-mailed to students by 5:00 p.m. February 14, 2020 

Step 3 (encouraged for those not currently in the apartments) - Select A Room

  • Select your space on an upperclassmen floor in one of the residence halls. Selecting a space on campus will not impact your chances of getting into the apartments – be sure to preference apartments HIGHER than the residence hall you selected.
  • If you preference an LLC AND meet eligibility you’ll be able to select-a-room in ANY Living-Learning Community (except First-Year Bears and Global Community) as space is available.
  • Spaces are available based on first-come first-serve as students reapply.
