  • LLC Partners

The living-learning community (LLC) program at Missouri State provides students with the opportunity to interact with faculty, staff and community members through a variety of experiences and events centered around the theme of the LLC.

What does an LLC partner do?

LLC partners help to sponsor a specific LLC related to their field of expertise or area of interest. As an LLC partner you will get to connect with residents who are interested in common academic programs, who share common experiences, or who have a passion for a similar interest area (e.g., sustainability, creative arts, fitness & wellness, etc.). You will help to brainstorm ideas and plan events that help residents connect with each other and the university. You can also interact with residents in an informal outside-of-class environment, use your knowledge and network to share campus and community resources, and provide advice and support to students in the LLC. Involvement and time commitments as an LLC partner are flexible, ranging from attending two-three meetings per semester to regularly interacting with the LLC students.

Benefits of becoming an LLC partner:

  • Connecting with students in your programs/classes.
  • Supporting students in their college experience and academic careers.
  • Helping students feel like they belong at MSU.
  • Contributing to overall student sucess and retention.
