The Hall Director is the primary live-in administrator of a residence hall, responsible
for all management functions necessary to provide students with a community in which
they can live and learn comfortably and effectively.
Maintenance, Custodial, Computer and Office Support Staff are critical members of
the Residence Life team. They help create a clean and comfortable living environment
for residents; provide assistance to students and staff; and create a pleasant working
environment for everyone.
Receptionists and Night Hosts are full-time staff who work closely with the residence
hall staff in keeping the office, mail room and reception area running smoothly. Receptionists
and Night Hosts establish a welcoming presence in the lobby of a residence hall by
meeting and greeting students, visitors and University employees. Receptionists and
Night Hosts function as an information source, answer questions and provide information
to students, visitors and University employees.
Our Central Staff is comprised of our Director, Associate Directors, Assistant Directors
and Coordinators. This leadership team in Residence Life represents each area: Business
Services, Facilities and Operations, Education and Development and Dining Services.
