Become an RA

Your Adventure Starts Here!

Do you want to shape the residence hall experience for others? Resident Assistants (RAs) help their fellow students make their Missouri STATEment and create a welcoming community where students feel like they belong.

The residence hall experience is a crucial aspect of college life, especially for incoming students. RAs help build community within the residence halls by planning educational, academic and social activities; by fostering relationships with residents; and by encouraging campus involvement.

Some RAs specifically work with a living-learning community to foster student growth and development. They encourage faculty-student interactions as well as campus involvement. Check out the living-learning communities Missouri State has to offer.
