How to change your room assignment before the academic year begins:
- Log in to My Missouri State.
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Click on the Campus Life category.
- On the Housing card, click on Housing Application.
- Click on the Change My Assignment link.
Please note that, at certain times of the year, the online room change request process may be taken offline for administrative purposes. Room changes cannot be made during those times.
If you just want to SWAP rooms with another person:
(i.e. you go to where THEY are and they go to where YOU are)
A room SWAP can occur when two students that both have housing assignments would like to trade those assignments with one another before July 15. To request a room swap, you and the person you want to swap places will both need to complete the Room Swap Request Form online. You will need that person’s full name, BearPass ID#, Building name, and room number for the request.
Please note swaps are not guaranteed as not all students are eligible for all spaces on campus.
