All single students under 21 years of age who have earned fewer than 27 hours of transferable credit after high school graduation are required to live in university housing.

How to start your housing application!

Go to: My.MissouriState.edu, Main Menu, Campus Life category, Housing card, Housing Application link
(You must be admitted to Missouri State University before being able to access the application.)

Application Resources

1. Completed Terms & Conditions (with a Parent/Co-signature on file if under 18)
2. Online Housing application (with all of your personal information and preferences)
3. $100 housing deposit (can be paid for online with a card, or by check / money order)
4. Meningitis Requirements - (requirements must be completed before given room assignment)

You can view pictures, videos, layouts, dimensions, amentities, and other information for each residence hall - Blair-Shannon, Freddy, Hammons, Heitz, Hutchens, Kentwood, Scholars, Wells, Woods - and apartment building - Monroe and Sunvilla Tower.

When does the application open? When do I get my room assignment?

The application opened on October 18, 2023 @ 10:00 am.

We start making housing assignments for Spring 2024 students with completed applications beginning in November 2023. You will receive emails to your Missouri State email address.
The application for current on-campus residents opened on February 1, 2024 @ 2:00 pm.
The summer housing application opened for all other students on April 1, 2024 @ 2:00 pm.

We start making housing assignments for Summer 2024 students with completed applications beginning in May 2024. You will receive emails to your Missouri State email address.
The application for current on-campus residents opened October 18, 2023 @ 2:00 pm.
The housing application opened for all other students on November 1, 2023 @ 2:00 pm.

We start making housing assignments for 2024-2025 students with completed applications beginning the end of April 2024 and then once a month in May, June, July, and August as new applications are completed. You will receive emails to your Missouri State email address.
