This LLC, located in Freudenberger House for the 2017-2018 academic year, is offered to first-year students with a declared major in the Darr College of Agriculture.
Welcome! We’re excited you’ve decided to join the Bear family and, more specifically, the agriculture family. When I say family, that’s exactly what I mean. You’ll quickly discover there is a sense of community between faculty, staff and students.
Our motto is ‘Excellence with the Care Factor.’ We set our goals high and strive to reach them, but we also do it together. Faculty are more concerned about equipping students with skills to be successful after graduation than simply testing students over material from a textbook. They work tirelessly to advise students and help them locate internships and full-time employment.
Our staff was recently recognized as the best advising support staff on campus, meaning they go above and beyond the call of duty to help students. The closeness of our students is truly unique. The camaraderie they create while here transcends through personal and professional relationships after graduation.
We hope your transition to Missouri State and the Darr College of Agriculture is smooth, and if there is ever anything we can do to help, please let us know. GO BEARS!
