High-rise apartment living within walking distance of campus sets Sunvilla Tower apart from other residence halls. The 18-story smoke and tobacco free facility houses 186 upper-class men and women in a coed environment. The spacious apartments are completely carpeted and offer a full kitchen.

Each kitchen has all modern appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave oven, and the dining area contains a dinette set. The bedrooms are equipped with bunkable twin-sized beds, closet space and drawer storage, as well as 1-2 desks and desk chairs. The living room contains a sofa, chairs, end tables, coffee table, and 1-2 desks and desk chairs.

The two-bedroom apartments house five students with two complete bathrooms. The one-bedroom apartments house either two or three students, all with one complete bathroom.

Attractive features of Sunvilla Tower include a terrace located on the second floor, a private swimming pool area and patio area with grill, a study room, fitness center, recreation room and computer lab offering the latest in hardware and software technology, including access to the Internet, word processing and spreadsheet packages, and laser printing. Limited underground parking spaces may be leased on a first-come, first-served basis. Sunvilla maintains a less-restrictive visitation policy, remains open during all vacation periods and offers an optional meal plan for all residents.

In addition, five floors (21 apartments) are reserved for married*, graduate, and non-traditional** student living and are referred to as Sunvilla Apartments. These floors are open year-round. Residents may request twin or queen sized beds. (A separate leasing agreement must be requested for this apartment option.)

All Sunvilla residents who have their own computer and Ethernet card may connect to the university's network through the network modules provided in each room. One data jack is provided in each bedroom and two are provided in each living room (only one on floors 15-19). Access to the Internet and laser printing facilities are available.
