For current resident hall students for 2011-12
Current students are allowed first priority for room assignments in the two-part reapplication process that begins in February. Information about this process will be mailed to all current residents prior to the start of the reapplication process. Students must complete a 2011-12 contract 24 hours before they begin the room selection process, which follows the room selection schedule below.
How to complete a contract:
- Log in to My Missouri State.
- Click on the Profile tab, locate the Housing channel and find the category called Reapplication Steps.
- Click on the Complete Contract and then Click on Application (Step 1).
- Select Apply (Step 2) from the list of drop-down options.
- Follow the steps to complete and submit your application.
Room selection:
At least 24 hours after you complete your 2011-12 housing contract, log in to My Missouri State to complete the reapplication process:
- Click on the Profile tab, locate the Housing channel and find the category called Reapplication Steps
- Click on 2. Pick a Room and follow the steps, including locking in your room, confirming the room, selecting your meal plan and confirming that plan
- Click on Print Summary for a copy of your assignment when you reach the Congratulations! screen.
- Log out of My Missouri State to protect your information
You will receive an email confirming your room assignment toward the end of the reapplication process.
Reapplication Dates:
- February 17-18: Reapply to retain your current room for 2011-12.
- February 22-23: Apartment residents will select a different room due to the phasing-out of current apartments.
- February 24-25: Living-learning community residents will select a different room.
- February 28: Graduate students, postbaccalaureate students and seniors may select a different room.
- March 1: Juniors and sophomores may select a different room.
- March 2-3: Freshmen may select a different room.
From Mary 28-April 19, residents may submit room change requests should they change their minds after making their room selections. Room assignments for new incoming students will be made starting in late April.
