Do you love residence hall life?
Do you want to shape the residence hall experience for others? Resident Assistants (RAs) and Residential Programming Assistants (RPAs) help their fellow students find their place and follow their passion at Missouri State.
The residence hall experience is a crucial aspect of college life, especially for incoming students. RAs and RPAs help build community within the residence halls by planning educational and social activities, fostering relationships with residents, and encouraging campus involvement.
RPAs specifically work with the living-learning communities to foster student growth and development. They encourage faculty-student interactions as well as campus involvement.
What does it take?
Being a RA or RPA takes leadership, initiative, and organization. It is a great opportunity for you to further develop your leadership skills, get involved on campus, and make lifelong friends.
